Does Every Yacht Business Need a Custom CRM?
2 July 2026The Integration Worked Yesterday. Who Notices Today?
14 July 2026A brokerage’s marketplace presence and its own website serve related purposes. The software brief should connect them through approved information and a clear enquiry workflow, rather than assume that every system automatically stays identical.
One concrete reference is the official LeadFlow documentation. It describes passing Boats Group lead-form and listing information to a CRM through a feed. Access depends on the provider’s eligible membership arrangements. This article reviews the documentation, not an integration already installed for every Bilişim Atölyesi client.
Identity is part of the connection
The receiver guidance gives each submission a lead identifier and recommends using it to recognise duplicates. It also warns that fields can be absent and unexpected values can occur. That means the receiver needs sensible handling beyond accepting one perfect demonstration request.
For a brokerage project, our interpretation is straightforward: an incoming request should reach the right conversation without becoming several opportunities when delivery is repeated. Staff should be able to recognise its origin and the yacht concerned.
A lead feed is not an inventory policy
Receiving an enquiry does not by itself define how yacht prices or availability are maintained across publication channels. Discuss those directions separately. Which system owns a specification? Who approves a change? What evidence shows that the intended output received it?
Build a simple diagram during the workshop, then describe it in words the staff can use. A correction to the main listing, a buyer enquiry arriving from a marketplace and a new PDF being generated are different events. They can use related records without having the same delivery rules.
Test the untidy cases
- An enquiry arrives twice.
- The linked yacht is no longer active.
- An optional field is empty.
- The responsible broker is away.
- A delivery fails and needs attention.
Documentation checked on 9 October 2026. Confirm the available services and requirements with the provider before committing to the scope. For custom listing websites, the most useful integration is one the team can understand and monitor after launch.
